Faculty
Department of Journalism And Communication is majors of Faculty Dakwah and Communication. Faculty of Dakwah and communication established in pursuant with the ministry of religion regulation number 393 and 407 in 1997. According the ministry changed by Faculty of Dakwah an Communication. This department proposed to produce graduate in journalism knowledge.

Vision
Department of Journalism UIN SGD Bandung has a vision to make students become a journalism idealis, that can integrate the religion aspect and the contemporary knowledge so it will have the advantages of being competitive and professional on national and international scale in optimizing human resources, general knowledge, science and technology, socio culture on the base of Islamic point of view, which will then be given to enhance the growth of the people of the nation that is now more open minded and democratic.

Mission
Department of Journalism UIN SGD Bandung has a mission to prepare our skill to be generation which has the ability to combine spiritual knowledge and the intellectual knowledge, so they have a balance proportion of intellectual, emotional and spiritual knowledge which will assist them in becoming high quality and independent people as well ass able to enhance and apply the knowledge in the context of science, technology, socio culture and art through optimizing the application of knowledges that are based on Islam Education is one of the most important aspects on someone’s life.
